Delaware Cookbook

This is a late 19th Century cookbook from Delaware, "tried and approved by the ladies of St. Paul's M.E. Church" which leads me to believe that these aren't local recipes, especially considering how many involved oysters. I think that this was probably a fund raiser for the church or an associated charity and a money maker for the publisher of the book. While the recipes are interesting, I think that the most interesting part of the book is the range of ads for various commercial, retail, and manufacturing businesses located in Delaware at the time.
